
Rene Larrave

Rene Larrave brings over 25 years of leadership experience in entrepreneurship and management consulting, with deep expertise in business strategy, operations, process optimization, and technology transformation. He has worked across a wide range of industries including financial services, retail, telecom, manufacturing, energy, hospitality, and entertainment—advising some of the world’s most influential organizations.
As a serial entrepreneur, Rene has founded and led multiple ventures, including CommandHound (accountability software), Koios Works (predictive data mining), Calatestra Partners (advisory and private equity), Neptune Wave Power (renewable energy), Avvantica (outsourcing), Tactica Technology Group (consulting), and Motopia (a motorcycle-themed restaurant and business center).
Earlier in his career, Rene held consulting roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and Deloitte in London and Dallas. He has also served as a faculty member in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Business Administration at UT Austin, Monterrey Tech, and currently Southern Methodist University.
Rene holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Monterrey Tech, with additional studies at Ohio State University. He is a Certified Management Consultant and an active member of YPO, WPO, and other leadership organizations, serving on several corporate and nonprofit boards.
