Jakob Sponitz is a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Improving, where he focuses on designing and automating scalable network environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. He is passionate about creating secure, high-performance systems that enable global business operations while integrating automation to streamline processes and reduce manual work.

With a background in Management Information Systems from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Jakob has built deep expertise in cloud and hybrid infrastructure, network design, security, and automation. He frequently leverages tools like PowerShell and Python to deliver infrastructure-as-code solutions and is known for his collaborative, people-focused approach to solving complex challenges.

Jakob holds multiple certifications, including CSM, CompTIA A+, CCENT, and UWA, and is committed to continuous learning and innovation. Outside of work, he enjoys summers on the lake, often wake surfing, and spending time with family and friends.
